Peak Open Water Sports currently operates from 5 stunning open water swimming venues across Norfolk and Suffolk.
We are the only Open Water Sports club to provide fully lifeguarded and coached sessions on the East Coast alongside NOWCA. Whether you are wanting to swim in large groups or learn from the best coaches in a 1:1 session – we have access to all types of water, expertise and exclusive venues where you are only surrounded by nature and wildlife!

Fritton Lake
A private holiday club and rewilding project situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Set within a 1,000-acre estate, it centres around a two-mile-long lake and offers luxury accommodation, outdoor activities, and nature restoration efforts. This venue is not open to the public and is private for our members and their guests.

Oulton Broad Watersports Centre
OBWSC is a charity-run facility in Lowestoft providing a wide range of instructor-led activities and equipment hire for individuals, families, and groups. Located within Nicholas Everitt Park, it is open for the 2026 season with Open Water Swimming sessions led by Peak Open Water Sports and a range of water sports with fully qualified RYA and British Canoeing instructors.

Lowestoft Beach – North & South
Lowestoft features two distinct award-winning beaches, both offering a traditional British seaside experience. The main resort beach in Lowestoft, known for its fine golden sand and high standards of cleanliness. It also features the Claremont Pier and South Pier, which offer amusements and refreshments. Seasonal RNLI lifeguards patrol from late May to early September whilst the Open Water Swimming Season runs too.

South Elmham Lakes
A premier fly fishing and wild swimming venue located at Old Hall Farm on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. The site features three spring-fed lakes set within a wildflower meadow and a dedicated 1-acre lake for private swimming.

Salhouse Broad
A privately owned and managed section of the Broads National Park in Norfolk, located on the River Bure between Wroxham and Horning. Unlike most Broads formed from peat diggings, it originated from 10th-century sand and gravel extraction making it a perfect environment for outdoor sports. Peak Open Water Sports has launched open water swimming here for 2026 which is an exciting development for this area of Norfolk.
